Consuming only 12W, they will make a noticeable difference to your power bill and they even have a selectable colour temperature on the back so we can set it to your chosen temperature (we recommend 3000K which is a gentle warm white).

Less than 5% of the incandescent bulb, makes light, the rest is heat. And all that heat Means they burnout within 400-2000 hours.
A halogen bulb is an incandescent bulb, containing halogen gas and a tungsten filament, it operates at even higher temps, provides a brighter light and lasts slightly longer than a typical incandescent bulb. Halogens typically consume around 50 watts of energy.
But the most efficient bulb is the LED. These will use between 5-10 watts in most situations. An LED is a diode that makes light when electricity is passed through it, almost all the energy is converted into light. LED lights are very long lasting, usually more than 20,000 hours.
